Job summary

International chemical manufacturer seeks an experienced refinery process chemical account manager to drive sales and service of process chemicals into refining accounts in Alaska. The role focuses on Anchorage and Fairbanks, with up to 50% overnight travel, building on existing accounts and creating new opportunities in antifoulants, fuel additives, and corrosion inhibitors.

Relocation is available for qualified candidates; salary is competitive with bonus opportunities and a company vehicle,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Chemical Eng, Mech Eng, Chemistry, etc.).
• 4+ years in refinery process chemical sales and service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Sell process chemicals (antifoulants, fuel additives, corrosion inhibitors) to refining accounts.
• Grow existing accounts in Anchorage and Fairbanks; develop new opportunities.
• Travel up to 50% to support accounts and business development.
• Relocation offered to qualified candidates if needed.

Job description

International chemical manufacturer is looking for an experienced refinery process chemical account manager for sales and service of process chemicals into refining accounts in Alaska. Rep will focus on building existing accounts in Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska, so some overnight travel is expected (Up to 50%). Account manager will develop new opportunities in existing accounts and focus on selling chemicals used in refinery processes: antifoulants, finished fuel additives, corrosion inhibitors, etc.

Company is looking for candidates with the following qualification

• s4-year degree in a technical field (Chemical Eng, Mech Eng, Chemistry, etc.
• )Prior refinery process chemical sales and service, at least 4 year
• eWorking ability with Microsoft suit
• eStrong mechanical aptitud
• dWillingness to travel up to 50
