Job summary

Flint Hills Resources, Pine Bend Oil Refinery in Rosemount, MN, is seeking a Planner to prepare work orders and collaborate with Crafts, Operations, and Asset Engineers to forecast and plan repairs, upgrades, and maintenance. The role focuses on piping, valves, exchangers, and other process equipment with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The planner will work in shop and field settings, using mobile tools and plant information systems to access TASK information, schedules, and job scopes,

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of how to use hand and shop tools.
• Proficiency with computers and mobile phones.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing job scopes on new, unusual or critical jobs with historical problems to develop understanding of expectations.
• Determining and documenting steps and time estimates required to complete jobs within scope.
• Complete work order step text in accordance with job package guidelines.
• Build job packages and provide cost estimates as needed.
• Ensure planning workflows follow FHR specs and standards.
• Coordinate multi-craft jobs with other planners and crafts.
