Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years of any type of work experience or Associate's or Technical Degree from a Process Technology Program. Military experience is work experience and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
• Valid Driver's License. Driving within the facility on a routine basis is required.
• Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour shift, overtime as required, and on-call.
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position. Candidates must demonstrate a personal commitment to Incident and Injury Free Operations with a proven record in Safety and Reliability.

Responsibilities

• Ownership for their personal safety and the safety of others.
• Building a comprehensive understanding of refinery policies and procedures, as well as knowledge of the assigned processing unit, and can relate it to others.
• Spending frequent and extended time outdoors in all climates and in proper personal protective equipment.
• Maintaining the unit’s maintenance, repairs, housekeeping, and emergency response requirements
• Operation of process units utilizing a wide range of control systems and equipment that includes refrigeration units, mixers, heat exchangers, pumps, vacuum systems, filters, and atmospheric and pressurized storage tanks.
• Operation of our utility systems that include power generation by gas-fired turbines, boilers, air compressors, hot oil units, incinerator furnaces, firewater and cooling water systems, boiler feedwater treatment, and effluent water treatment systems.

Education

Associate's or Technical Degree from a Process Technology Program
