The program targets development through hands-on training within Chevron's formal Operator Training Program. Successful candidates will work rotating 12-hour shifts, outdoors in diverse climates, and must have a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Ownership for personal safety and the safety of others.
• Understanding refinery policies and unit operations.
• Operate process units and control systems.
• Wear PPE and work outdoors in all climates.
• Maintain unit maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping.
• Operate valves, meters, pumps and transfer systems.
• Coordinate field execution and maintain safe operations.
• Respond to safety and emergency requirements.
• Utilize computer tools effectively.
• Work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build understanding of refinery policies and unit operations.
• Spend time outdoors in all climates with PPE.
• Maintain unit maintenance, repairs and housekeeping.
• Operate process units and associated systems.
• Operate utility systems and transfer equipment.
• Complete manual operation tasks and cargo handling.
• Operate valves, meters, pumps, and transfer systems.
• Manage process moves from field and control room.
• Work with other departments to meet objectives.
