Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Refinery Lead in Winston-Salem, NC to own the Refinery Department. You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation, drive performance against safety, quality, production, and cost targets, and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering (or related field) with manufacturing experience or 5+ years in corn wet milling operations, strong leadership, and knowledge of GMP/HACCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of corn wet milling/ refinery operations experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, safety, and regulatory knowledge (GMP/HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Own overall Refinery Department performance, ensuring safety, quality, production, and cost targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.
• Lead operational accountability, coaching, and corrective actions as needed.
• Develop high-performing teams through training and succession planning.
