Job summary

GFL Environmental Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Refinery Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to coordinate maintenance across refinery sites with CMMS and Primavera P6 expertise. The role requires TAR planning, materials procurement, and strong safety compliance.

This is an exempt, salaried position based in Columbus, OH, with extended hours during turnarounds and urgent work. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in refinery/industrial maintenance planning, hands-on CMMS experience (SAP

Qualifications

Turnaround experience with planning or execution required.
Hands-on CMMS experience (work orders, PMs) with equipment prep and handback.
OSHA 30-Hour General Industry preferred; HAZWOPER preferred.
Purchasing/inventory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance work across refinery and facilities.
Build and publish weekly/daily maintenance schedules; coordinate with Operations and vendors.
Procure parts, stage materials, and verify specifications.
Assist TAR scope development, detailed job plans, and critical path tracking.
Administer CMMS, ensure accurate work order closeouts and KPI reporting.
Ensure compliance with PSM, MOC, LOTO, and EHS requirements; support incident investigations.
