Job summary

Grapevine Operating Company LLC in Bakersfield, CA seeks a Maintenance Planner to interface with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and HSSE, ensuring safe and effective maintenance work. You will oversee CMMS, Primavera P6 and Maximo, review work requests, prioritize tasks and coordinate with multiple departments for timely execution.

The role reports to Maintenance Manager and requires strong planning, problem solving, and cost-control skills, with direct experience in refinery maintenance

Qualifications

• Proven planning/scheduling capabilities in a refinery context.
• Strong skills in refinery maintenance, construction and turnaround planning/scheduling.
• Proven track record of driving lasting results through teams and organizations.
• Ability to interpret financial data to set production goals.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Some experience in Maximo CMMS would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities aligned with approved strategies.
• Ensure critical activities are completed on time, on schedule and within budget.
• Assess, screen, risk-evaluate, and prioritize work requests.
• Conduct field/site inspections and determine if MOC is required.
• Create scope of work for requests; consult with tech support as needed.
• Issue work orders to external parties and manage resources for safety and cost.
• Maintain backlog and accurate history reporting; update systems.
• Lead continuous improvement of maintenance processes and cost reductions.
