Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Machinist for the Borger Refinery in Texas. The role involves operating lathes, milling machines, and related equipment, reading blueprints, and performing precision measurements. You will handle valve testing gear and participate in safety, reliability, and process improvement activities.

A valid driver's license and readiness for rotating shifts are required. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, and machinist certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willing to work 8–12 hour rotating shifts, weekends/holidays.
• Read and follow technical procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathes, drill presses, vices, and milling equipment.
• Operate pressure relief valve testing equipment.
• Repair valves including gate, plug, orbit, globe, check, and relief valves.
• Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring devices.
• Perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and working at heights with fall protection.
• Enter and retrieve data, and analyze process information.
• Use fire equipment as needed during maintenance activities.
