Job summary

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
Five+ years maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, or repairing laboratory instrumentation.
Ability to use computerized maintenance systems and instrument software.
Ability to meet medical, drug screening, background, and site-access requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on analytical instrumentation per schedules and SOPs.
Troubleshoot and repair laboratory instrumentation and support equipment.
Calibrate and verify instrument performance (GCs, titrators, distillation, etc.).
Track performance, downtime, and recurring problems using SPC/SQC charts.
Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs and training.
Develop troubleshooting guidelines and support method development.
Maintain instrument histories and compliance documentation.
Ensure safe maintenance practices and use of PPE.
