Kelly Services, on behalf of a Fortune 500 refinery, seeks a Laboratory Technician in Beaumont, TX for a long-term contract. You will support lab supervisors and chemists with routine and non-routine analyses, wet chemistry, and instrument work to sustain product quality and refinery operations.

Responsibilities include calibrating and maintaining equipment, preparing samples and standards, recording results, and ensuring traceability and data integrity under SOPs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent technical background.
• Experience with data recording and reporting in a lab setting.
• Experience in quality control within chemical or refinery environments is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analyses on in-process and final product samples.
• Calibrate and maintain analytical and testing equipment according to SOPs.
• Prepare, label, and manage samples ensuring traceability and data integrity.
• Utilize instruments to identify and resolve QA/QC issues.
• Prepare chemical stock solutions and analytical standards per quality standards.
• Record, verify, and report analytical results in compliance with protocols.
• Support continuous improvement in laboratory practices, safety, and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with supervisors and chemists to troubleshoot analytical issues.
