NSB Omega is seeking a Construction Manager for a major Oil & Gas client in Lake Charles, LA. The role leads refinery capital, maintenance, reliability, and improvement projects from planning through completion, managing projects up to $10 million in value in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience or 5 years experience with an engineering degree.
• 5+ years of maintenance or construction management and/or engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of FEL development, project execution, estimating, scheduling, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Willingness and ability to conduct field visits and work safely in refinery and construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases, including Front-End Loading (FEL), design, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and closeout.
• Serve as the primary coordinator between Engineering, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, Turnaround teams, contractors, vendors, and procurement groups.
• Ensure projects are completed safely and meet quality, scope, schedule, budget, operability, reliability, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Develop and manage project plans, execution strategies, budgets, schedules, risks, and performance metrics.
• Direct engineering teams and contractors while resolving technical issues, design changes, field modifications, and nonconformances.
• Monitor project progress, costs, forecasts, and change management to keep projects on track.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead commissioning, startup readiness reviews, turnover activities, punch-list completion, lessons learned, and project closeout.
