Referral Specialist — MIAMI, FL | Hybrid | Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm | $16.50

We are seeking an Intake & Screening Specialist to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This position is an immediate temp-to-perm opportunity with benefits available once converted to permanent status.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer 40-60 calls a day to answer participants' questions and concerns.
• Conduct intake and screening for callers to determine appropriate programs and services.
• Assist with Medicaid and long-term care eligibility processes.
• Maintain accurate case data and records.
• Support individuals through crisis intervention and resource navigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Human Services, or Associate’s and 2+ years related experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to de-escalate difficult conversations with professionalism.
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry).
• Typing speed of at least 45 WPM.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) preferred.
