Responsabilités

• Coordinate and manage referrals to ensure timely processing.
• Verify information and documentation for referrals and scheduling.
• Coordinate insurance authorizations and payer requirements as needed.
• Communicate with referring/receiving providers, patients, and departments to resolve issues.
• Monitor referral queues and track pending, scheduled, completed, and outstanding referrals.
• Prioritize urgent referrals and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and referral systems.
• Assist with coverage of referral functions across clinics as needed.
