Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience handling medical office referrals.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance workflows.
• Excellent customer service with professional de-escalation.
• Proficient with EMR databases and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to schedule appointments.
• Process and track physician and facility referrals in ARM/EMR.
• Update patient demographics and verify insurance for billing.
• Coordinate with physician offices for needed documentation.
• Follow up to ensure scheduling and pre-appointment instructions.
• Train and mentor call center staff on referral protocols.
