CommonSpirit Health at Home is seeking a Referral Operations Coordinator to manage physician order processing, document handling, and referral source coordination for home health and hospice services. You will ensure timely documentation, maintain accurate referral files, and support open information flow to enhance patient care.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service and 1+ year in a medical office setting, with strong confidentiality adherence under HIPAA.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

At CommonSpirit Health at Home, we strive to embody our mission of delivering hope and healing to those we serve. As a Referral Operations Coordinator you’ll engage in a range of exciting responsibilities for Home Health and Hospice, including:

• Processing approved physician orders.
• Responsible for delivering and picking up documents that need to be signed by a physician for identified accounts.
• Effectively presents and discusses the products and services of the organization in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding of customer requirements.
• Promotes an open flow of information and education in support of home care and/or hospice goals.
• Completes and submits all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Develops and maintains accurate files on each key referral source to provide the location with client information needed to build strong client and branch ties and deliver customer satisfaction.
• Tracking documentation requiring a physician’s signature using organization standard document management software and processes.
• Follows up on items needed in support.

Job Requirements

Candidates must reside in one of the approved remote worker states: AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, NC, ND, NE, NJ, OH, SC, TN, TX, UT, WI

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of medical office related experience preferred.
• Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality of HIPAA protected health information that adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program.

Pay Range

$20.91 - $29.54 /hour
