Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Two years of clinical referral experience required.
• Familiarity with medical records and billing in ambulatory care.
• Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and process incoming referrals for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate scheduling of referrals with clinics per guidelines.
• Communicate with referring providers and patients regarding coverage and authorizations.

• Monitor referral work queues and produce monthly reports.
