Responsibilities

• Process incoming/outgoing referrals and maintain tracking/documentation
• Ensure timely completion of referrals and review overdue/pending items
• Communicate with insurance to verify prior authorizations and provide necessary medical information
• Be the patient-facing navigator for referrals and coordinate with external offices
• Maintain patient demographics, insurance data, and charting; scan documents into the EHR
• Support front desk roles as needed
• Other duties as assigned
