Job summary

Universal Health Services in Northwest Indiana seeks an Account Manager to serve as the liaison between the facility, community, and referral agencies. The role focuses on growing patient census by developing new referral sources and managing existing accounts, while identifying needs and delivering services to meet them.

This position also helps develop materials and activities to promote the hospital and build strong community relationships in the Northwest Indiana region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience in health care business development/marketing with measurable results.
• Ability to represent the facility professionally in the community.

Position Summary:

The Account Manager directly serves as the liaison between the facility, the community and referring agencies. The Account Manager is responsible for growing patient census by consistently exploring the development of new referral sources and potential referral sources, maintaining and managing existing accounts, identifying referral source needs, and delivering services to meet those needs. This position will also assist with the development of materials and activities promoting the hospital.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration orrelated field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, preferred. The Account Manager presents a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community.
