Job summary

Universal Health Services seeks a dedicated Account Manager/Community Liaison for Cypress Creek Hospital in the Houston area. You will cultivate referral sources, promote behavioral health programs, and collaborate with the Business Development team to drive patient admissions and community engagement.

You will manage strategic accounts, travel as needed, and maintain accurate records while presenting a positive public image of the facility in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
• Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clear driving record.
• Prefer knowledge of the Greater Houston behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and age-specific programming.
• Must possess demonstrated business development concepts, sales abilities, competency in computer usage, and excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of marketing and sales principles; creativity and flexibility; skills in data collection, analysis and interpretation; adherence to deadlines; customer service skills; willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and implement Sales Excellence and Service Recovery standards.
• Act as liaison between the facility and referral sources; conduct facility tours to key stakeholders.
• Participate in Business Development team meetings and provide marketing reports and updates.
• Maintain documentation of top accounts, contacts, planning reports, and client profiles.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and identify new sources.
• Maximize field time with 8–10 face-to-face contacts daily with referral sources.
