What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Receive and respond to all referral inquiries, providing appropriate information to potential patients, their families, and referral sources
- Assess referrals and provide clinical judgment for appropriate levels of care, maintaining knowledge of admission criteria and treatment services
- Manage referral packets and secure timely dispositions from facilities, communicating acceptance or denial to relevant individuals
- Facilitate weekly conference calls with regional facilities to review referral statuses and guide facility intake staff on next steps
- Maintain and update the referral database, generating reports for the facility intake staff and regional business development team
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or mental health field
- Knowledge of assessing clients for appropriate levels of care
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must reside in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, or Arizona
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with referral sources and facility staff
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Master’s degree in a behavioral or mental health field
- Experience in behavioral health services or referral management
- Familiarity with clinical programming and treatment services
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple referrals and communications efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
