What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive and respond to all referral inquiries, providing relevant information to potential patients, their families, and referral sources
- Assess referrals and provide clinical judgment for appropriate levels of care, collaborating with Account Managers on the status of youth admissions
- Manage referral packets and ensure timely communication of acceptance or denial to appropriate individuals
- Facilitate weekly conference calls with regional facilities to review referral status and guide facility intake staff on next steps
- Maintain the referral database to track cases from receipt to admission and generate status reports for the intake staff and business development team

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or mental health field
- Knowledge of assessing clients for appropriate levels of care
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must reside in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, or Arizona
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with referral sources and team members

- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience in managing referrals within a healthcare or behavioral health setting
- Familiarity with clinical programming and admission criteria
- Effective organizational skills to handle multiple referrals simultaneously
