Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize job-related activities and manage competing demands.
• Healthcare scheduling experience or 2 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and facilitate specialty referrals for patients of the Health Center.
• Communicate with managed care plans to obtain approvals for specialty visits.
• Inform patients of appointment time, location, provider, and required documents.
• Collaborate with EMKCHC referral network to align with contracts and practices.
• Track reports and results; notify PCPs of missed appointments.
• Manage telemedicine referrals and update patient health records.
• Handle patient portal messages and maintain data systems.
• Produce reports and referral follow-up data as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
