Mercy Clinic Springfield - ENT Surgery Center in the United States is seeking a Referral Coordinator to manage information flow in the managed care referral process for all contracted plans.

This full-time role requires a High School Diploma, experience in a physician's office, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to Mercy's service standards.

Overview:

The Referral Coordinator is responsible for maintaining information flow in the managed care referral process for all contracted managed care health plans. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education : High School Diploma required.
• Experience : Work experience in a physician's office or medical institution with exposure to managed care and primary care rules and practices.
• Other : Skill in exercising initiative, judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making. Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff, doctors, nurses, patients, and managed care representatives. Skill in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives. Ability to communicate clearly. Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements. Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
