SUMMARY OF POSITION:

To proactively establish and maintain relationships with practice site management and providers outside the Academic Medical Group and build new referral relationships. Build a concierge referral process by consistently communicating with internal and external customers. Improve fill rates and reduce access time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES - The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

  • Proactively establish and maintain relationships with practice sites external to Academic Medical Group.
  • Work with non-Cerner EMR to communicate with referring providers and collect data necessary for patient visits.
  • Expedite the scheduling of these patients with goal of a visit being offered within five (5) days.
  • Build process flow for all of our customers.
  • Collaborate with external and internal customers to determine the best scheduling practice for our patients.
  • Responsible for the development of metrics and presentation of dashboard to internal and external customers.
  • Schedule patient visits and diagnostic tests.
  • Provide timely, accurate communication to patients, practice site management and providers.
  • Understand and be able to articulate HIPAA/privacy policies and laws to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Understand demonstrate ability to efficiently obtain priority insurance approvals as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year of experience working in a healthcare setting
