Presbyterian Healthcare Services at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, NM is hiring a Referral Coordinator. You will manage referrals from referring providers, coordinate scheduling for specialty procedures, and ensure timely, professional communications with providers and patients.

Responsibilities include handling prior authorizations, using CARES/AIDET/EPE tools, and ensuring smooth hand-offs across departments while maintaining strong program knowledge and collaboration with Business

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent; significant MD interaction experience.
• Proficiency in prior authorization/certification/referral process.
• Must pass EPIC Registration competency after training.
• Short-term training in Medical Terminology.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding; strong organization.

Responsabilités

• Achieve exceptional experience for providers and referring offices using CARES, AIDET and EPE tools.
• Ensure timely communications with providers and patients.
• Schedule referrals and arrange provider-to-provider communication as needed.
• Resolve concerns in the moment with resources and escalations.
• Coordinate access for referrals across program departments.
• Follow up to update on referral status and hand-offs.
• Maintain knowledge of program operations for referrals inquiries.
• Collaborate with Business Development to collect feedback from referring offices.
