Job summary

Responsibilities

• Gather, verify, and process referrals, authorizations, and pre-certifications.
• Communicate plan details and answer billing/insurance questions.
• Set up appointments and coordinate visits including transportation and interpreters.
• Coordinate information flow between clinic and referral department to secure valid referrals.
• Enter referrals and related documents into the system.
• Prioritize referrals by urgency and respond promptly.
