Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Huntersville, NC is seeking an Administrative and Clerical professional to support the business across locations. You will handle referrals, intake, scheduling, and insurance verification while coordinating with clinical and admissions teams.

The role requires strong data entry, Microsoft Word/Excel skills, and excellent organization with minimal supervision. This is a full-time, on-site position offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business or health care related field preferred.
• Related admissions and medical insurance work experience will be considered in place of degree.
• Broad knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficient data entry and computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Able to function with minimal supervision.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives/contact referrals and determines client needs with Director of Clinical Management.
• Gathers data and completes Referral Intake Sheet for initial contact.
• Verifies benefits and discusses issues with Admissions Manager/PM/DCM.
• Keeps referral sources updated on staffing and authorizations.
• Coordinates case openings with Clinical Coordinators and obtains physician orders.
• Assists with startup paperwork and prepares clinical packets.
• Maintains referral logs and contract binders.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and company ethics programs.
