Job summary

Labcorp in Englewood, CO is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our laboratory team. The role includes preparing specimens, resolving problems, and processing test requests with attention to quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with Labcorp experience preferred and at least 1 year in a medical/clinical lab setting. Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with a 3rd shift differential.

Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Englewood, CO.

Work Schedule

Tuesday -Saturday, 1:00am - 9:30am. Overtime and additional hours may be required depending on business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results
• Assist clients with any specimen related requests or inquiries
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory
• Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Minimum Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualification

• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• 1 year or more of experience in a medical / clinical laboratory experience

• Comfortability with handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment
• Well organized and a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

All job offers will be bebased on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicabledegrees/certifications,as well as internal equity and market data.

Pay range: $18.88-$22.22 plus 3rd shift differential

• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
