Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Overland Park, KS. This role will involve preparing and sending specimens and test requests to LabCorp and contracted reference laboratories, and releasing referral test results into the computer system.

The position offers a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 03:00am to 11:30am with possible overtime. Candidates should be comfortable handling biological specimens, and possess basic computer/data entry skills with strong communication and

• Preferred: Labcorp experience.
• Preferred: 6 months or more of medical/clinical laboratory experience.

LabCorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Overland Park, KS.

This Reference Test Clerk will be responsible for preparing and sending specimens and test requests to LabCorp and/or contracted reference laboratory for testing, as well as releasing referral test results into the computer system.

Work Schedule:

Tues­­day-Saturday 03:00am-11:30 am; Overtime as needed based on business needs. Expect 2-8 hours of overtime a week.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualification

• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• 6 months or more of experience in a medical / clinical laboratory experience

• Comfortability with handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment
• Well organized and a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
