Job summary

Labcorp in Greenville, SC is hiring a Hospital Reference Test Clerk to join our fast-paced clinical lab team. The role supports specimen preparation, test requests, and communication with clients to ensure accurate results.

Work schedule Monday–Friday 10:00 am–6:30 pm with rotating weekend shifts; candidates should have a high school diploma and comfort handling biological specimens, good data entry and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
• Must pass color vision screening and related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems.
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results.
• Assist clients with specimen-related requests or inquiries.
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities.
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
• Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving.
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Greenville, SC

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 10am - 6:30pm with rotating weekends 11am - 4:30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results
• Assist clients with any specimen related requests or inquires
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory
• Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory environment
