Job summary

Labcorp invites applicants to join the Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Englewood, CO. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday night shift (8:00 PM–4:30 AM) with occasional Saturday rotations, and the opportunity to contribute to critical lab workflows in a caring, detail-oriented environment.

You will prepare specimens for analysis, unpack and route them, label and track samples, and ensure accurate data entry while upholding safety standards.

• Comfortable handling biological specimens and maintaining accurate records.

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Englewood CO.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00PM-4:30AM with Rotational Saturday

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens

Minimum Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualification

• 1 year or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing
• 1year or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience
• 1 year or more of experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital
• 1 year of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environment

• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Pay Range: $18.88 - $22.22 per hour plus 3rd shift differential.

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data
