Job summary

GLOM GLOBAL INC seeks a Residential Counselor to supervise adult residents transitioning from incarceration, offering guidance and support for independent living and rehabilitation goals. The role requires flexibility for weekend and overnight shifts and prioritizes emotional stability and good judgment.

Responsibilities include supervising activities, administering medication, and maintaining therapeutic relationships while adhering to program policies in a multi-disciplinary team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in reentry services or related field.
• Strong knowledge of the criminal justice system and reentry challenges.
• CPR/First Aid/BLS certification and clear background checks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor house activities while supervising resident actions.
• Provide guidance and informal support to clients as needed.
• Stay updated on reentry best practices and trends.
• Support residents to transition from incarceration to the community.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Administer medication to all clients.
• Follow facility policies and pass down issues to incoming staff.
