The GEO Group is seeking a committed Program Counselor to deliver therapeutic program services to Participants within our GEO Reentry Services program. You will manage a specific caseload, monitor service delivery, and provide counseling in multiple modalities including individual and group sessions.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, documentation, and coordinating with the team to support successful client outcomes. A PA CADC or B.A.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field or CADC certification in PA.
• Experience in a correctional setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Twelve Step programs (AA/NA).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with a professional team and implement team strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic program services to participants within licensed authority.
• Manage a caseload and monitor service delivery while enrolled in the program.
• Deliver didactic, psychoeducational, individual and group counseling.
• Conduct crisis intervention and maintain records in accordance with policies.
• Perform daily clinical program activities per schedule (group sessions, Life Skills, etc.).
• Prepare monthly progress reports and discharge planning as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other duties as assigned.
