Job summary

GLOM GLOBAL INC seeks a Forensic Peer Specialist to guide individuals released from prison or jail in a community setting. You will mentor clients, assist in service plan development, and connect them with housing, employment, education, and health resources.

Role emphasizes crisis planning, peer support, confidentiality, and collaboration with diverse agencies. Experience in mental health and rehabilitation programs is preferred.

Qualifications

• CMPSS certification is required.
• Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of challenges reentering society after incarceration.
• Knowledge of mental health peer support services.
• Ability to interact with managerial, clinical, court, and administrative staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with developing their individual service plans.
• Share recovery stories to inspire and support individuals.
• Advise on housing, employment, education, transportation, and other resources.
• Develop crisis plans and coping strategies for individuals.
• Attend treatment/recovery team meetings.
• Document services provided to individuals and groups.
• Advocate for individuals to facilitate recovery progress.
