The Peer Recovery Specialist is a full-time, in person role based in Baltimore, MD, with flexibility for some work-from-home activities. In this position, the specialist will provide peer-based support to individuals impacted by the criminal legal system and addiction, helping them navigate recovery, community reentry, and personal development. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group support sessions, assisting participants in accessing treatment and social services, and guiding individuals through insurance and resource coordination. The specialist will collaborate with program staff to develop and deliver trainings, document participant progress, and maintain accurate records in accordance with organizational policies. This role also involves outreach, advocacy, and participation in community events to strengthen partnerships and promote P2P’s mission.
