Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university with two years related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system and barriers faced by justice-involved individuals.
• Ability to obtain clearance to enter CT Department of Correction facilities.
• Experience providing housing navigation or assistance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support housing needs and goals; provide information and referrals.
• Assist participants with housing applications and documentation required for housing placement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community housing resources and providers.
• Provide crisis intervention and advocacy to participants in housing-related crises.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all program activities.
