Job summary

Casa Esperanza, Inc. is looking for a skilled Reentry Outreach Specialist in Boston to support individuals reentering society from incarceration. This role focuses on outreach, assessment, and connection to essential services aimed at promoting recovery and reducing recidivism.

The ideal candidate should have experience with harm reduction techniques, possess strong communication skills, and be willing to engage in flexible working hours. You will play a critical role in community integration and advocacy for returning citizens.

Qualifications

• Experience doing outreach to individuals at risk for SUD, addiction, mental illness, trauma, and violence.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently.
• Willingness to obtain certifications required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intensive outreach activities to educate justice-involved individuals about services.
• Complete LS/CMI assessments to identify treatment needs.
• Document all client encounters and maintain up-to-date records.
