Job summary

Theuniversityunion in Maryville, TN seeks a Case Manager to coordinate placements for program participants after the in-jail portion is completed and to monitor their progress at placements. Daily drug screenings in the onsite lab and teaching in-jail and post-release classes are key responsibilities.

Responsibilities include life-skills coaching, placement coordination, transportation assistance, and diligent reporting to supervisors and the Drug Court Team.

Qualifications

• Degree favorable but not required.
• Experience favorable but not required.
• Or equivalent training, education, and/or experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate placements for participants after completion of the in-j jail portion of the program.
• Monitor progress at placement and perform daily drug screenings in the onsite lab.
• Teach in-jail classes and evening classes with participants who have been released.
• Assist participants with understanding and performing basic life skills to re-enter society substance-free.
• Perform placement coordination and monitoring; provide transportation for participants to placement.
• Check-in and maintain reports on participants; report progress to supervisor and Drug Court Team.
• Attend workshops and training sessions; perform other assigned duties as needed.
