To be considered for the position, you must meet the basic requirements, including behavioral or social sciences coursework and graduate education or equivalent experience. The role emphasizes case management, social histories, and written correspondence with legal and parole stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 24 semester hours in behavioral or social sciences to meet basic education requirements.
• Education and experience combination that provides behavioral/social sciences knowledge equivalent to a 4-year degree.
• Graduate education must be in corrections or related fields such as criminal justice, sociology, psychology, counseling, social work, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist in case management services.
• Assist in collection, verification, and analysis of information for social histories.
• Assist in writing correspondence and responses to attorneys, judges, and parole offices.
• Determine inmate needs and monitor program goals and progress.
