Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree with at least 24 semester hours in behavioral or social sciences.
• Combination of education and experience showing equivalent to a 4-year degree.
• Graduate education must be in corrections or related field (criminal justice, sociology, psychology, counseling, social work).
• Specialized experience in casework, counseling, or social rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in case management services.
• Assist in the collection, verification, and analysis of information for social histories.
• Assist in writing correspondence and responses to Attorneys, Judges, and other sources.
• Assist in determining inmate needs and program goals, and monitor progress.
