Tallahassee State College is hiring a Career Development Specialist, Sago Palm Reentry (Region IV) on a full-time grant-funded basis. You will provide pre-release employment connections and job readiness planning for inmate release, under supervision.

The role focuses on assessment, program delivery, and documentation, with monthly reporting and collaboration with release officers and community providers. A competitive salary and Florida benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or high school diploma with 2 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Bonus: Associate’s Degree with 1 year of experience in social services or corrections.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret assessments.
• Deliver the 100-Hour Transition Skills Program curriculum and related in-cell programs.
• Maintain documentation of services delivered and enrollments.
• Report monthly attendance, enrollments, and completions using DC5-149.
