Job summary

Marten Transport, Ltd. in New Albany, MS is seeking skilled reefer technicians to join our maintenance team and keep our award-winning fleet moving safely and efficiently. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair reefers, perform preventive maintenance, document labor and parts, and follow safety procedures.

EPA certification is preferred but not required; HVAC experience and 1 year reefers preferred. We offer overtime opportunities, 401(k) with company match after 90 days, 40 hours PTO to

• EPA certification preferred but not required.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair reefer fleet equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and necessary repairs.
• Rebuild and repair equipment components as needed.
• Maintain accurate repair orders, including labor and parts documentation.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Help keep equipment safe, reliable, and road-ready.

What We're Looking For:

• EPA certification preferred but not required
• HVAC experience required (EPA certification can be attained while on-job)
• Preferred 1 year experience with single/multi temp reefers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures
• Flexibility to work different shifts and schedules as needed
