Job summary

Marten Transport is seeking a skilled Reefer Technician to join our maintenance team in Indiana. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair our award-winning refrigerated fleet, and perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment safe and road-ready.

Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred but not required.
• HVAC experience required; EPA certification can be attained on-job.
• Preferred 1 year experience with single/multi temp reefers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair reefer fleet equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Rebuild and repair equipment components as needed.
• Maintain accurate repair orders with labor and parts documentation.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Keep equipment safe, reliable, and road-ready.

Salary range: $28-$42/hour
