Job summary

Marten Transport in Colonial Heights, Virginia, is seeking a skilled Reefer Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair reefer fleet equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance inspections and necessary repairs to keep our award-winning fleet running safely and reliably.

• HVAC experience required (EPA certification can be attained while on-job).
• Preferred 1 year experience with single/multi temp reefers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair reefer fleet equipment.

• Rebuild and repair equipment components as needed.
• Maintain accurate repair orders, including labor and parts documentation.
