Job summary

Marten Transport, Ltd. is seeking a skilled Reefer Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair our reefer fleet. EPA certification is preferred, HVAC experience required, and a minimum of one year on single/multi-temperature reefers.

You will perform preventative maintenance, document labor and parts, follow safety procedures, and support a 50-pound lift and temperature variations. Overtime opportunities and a competitive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred but not required.
• HVAC experience required.
• Preferred 1 year experience with single/multi temp reefers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair reefer fleet equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and necessary repairs
• Rebuild and repair equipment components as needed
• Maintain accurate repair orders, including labor and parts documentation
• Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards
• Help keep equipment safe, reliable, and road-ready
