Job summary

Marten Transport in New Albany, MS is seeking skilled reefer technicians to join our maintenance team and keep our award-winning fleet moving safely and reliably. You'll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair reefer equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and document repairs to ensure road-ready equipment.

EPA certification is preferred but not required; HVAC experience is needed and a valid EPA can be attained on the job.

Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred but not required
• HVAC experience required (EPA certification can be attained while on-job)
• Preferred 1 year experience with single/multi temp reefers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures
• Flexibility to work different shifts and schedules as needed

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair reefer fleet equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and necessary repairs
• Rebuild and repair equipment components as needed
• Maintain accurate repair orders, including labor and parts documentation
• Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards
• Help keep equipment safe, reliable, and road-ready
