Job description

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Reefer Technician / Refrigeration Technician at our Martin Brower facility in East Point, GA.

Note: You MUST have ThermoKing experience to be considered.

Shift: Full-Time, Sunday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00/hr, Based on experience/qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair motor trucks and trailer equipment
• Test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment
• Interpret complex schematics related to refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, identify warrantable repairs, and document them on repair orders
• Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions, support preventative maintenance on tractor-trailers, and inspect parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers and pliers, as well as power tools
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of related experience
• Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, sit, and regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles
• Own tools (minimum tool requirements)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Technical School certification
