Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Master Level Diesel Technician in Conestoga, PA. The role offers weekly pay, rich benefits, and a comprehensive signing bonus package. Reefer experience and CDL A are preferred.

Responsibilities include standard/advanced vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and mentoring other technicians. Shift is 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for overtime and merit increases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of automotive gas/diesel engines.
• Diagnostics and repairs, including AC, electrical systems.
• Advanced skilled repairs including major engine/aftertreatment repairs.
• 4+ years relevant work experience, preferred.
• CDL CLASS A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses and repairs complex mechanical/electronic problems with diagnostic computers when applicable.
• Instructs/mentors other technicians on repairs and diagnostics.
• Coaches other technicians and advises shop management on repairs.
• Works in compliance with safety, DOT, MOT guidelines.
• Other support duties as required to support operations.
