Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Master Level Diesel Technician in Liverpool, NY. The role offers $43.00 per hour, with a robust package including sign-on bonuses and quarterly incentives, plus military veteran benefits and extensive training.

Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, on a first shift. Ryder provides comprehensive benefits after 30 days, paid training, and career advancement in a safety-first environment with state-of-the-art diagnostics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required; experience in mechanical repair of gas/diesel engines, including maintenance and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses and repairs complex mechanical and electronic problems with minimal support.
• Coaches/mentors other technicians and communicates repairs to shop leadership.
• Utilizes shop management system and diagnostic equipment.
