Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Conestoga, PA is seeking a Master Level Diesel Technician to service heavy-duty vehicles. This full-time position offers a first shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm), weekday schedule, and weekly pay with comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

You will use state-of-the-art diagnostics, enjoy a $2,500 sign-on bonus at 30 days and another at 90 days, plus quarterly bonuses up to $500 and a $100 per new ASE certification bonus up to $700. CDL A preferred, 4+ years experience recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification post-secondary preferred
• Basic tools required
• Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
• Diagnostics and repairs including AC, electrical systems
• Advanced repairs including major engine repairs or diesel aftertreatment
• Four+ years relevant work experience preferred
• CDL Class A preferred
• All other location-specific certifications required

Responsibilities

• SBTIII trained within 180 days
• Complete OEM diagnostic tool courses as required
• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical/electronic problems
• Coach/mentor other technicians
• Adhere to safety, DOT, and company guidelines
• Operate shop computers and diagnostic equipment proficiently
• Road test vehicles as necessary
